Lithuanian Securities Commission today gave the permission to UAB „Orion Asset Management“ and Alius Jakubėlis, Head of the brokerage firm „Orion Securities“, to acquire 65,94% and 34,06% stakes respectively in UAB „Investicijų portfelių valdymas.

UAB  „Investicijų portfelių valdymas“ is investment management company, which administrates two mutual funds in Lithuania: NSEL 30 Index fund and ZPR US Small Cap value fund.

NSEL 30 Index fund, launched in 2000, became the first mutual investment fund in Lithuania. It‘s portfolio is composed of 30 biggest companies, listed on OMX Vilnius stock exchange.

ZPR US Small Cap value fund was launched in 2004. It was the first mutual fund in Lithuania which invests only in US small cap value stocks.
